I did this matte painting for an italian documentary about Ancient Egypt. The episode on which the picture was used was about Saqqara and the artwork had to represent wath was the Djoser Pyramid like before the present day. The buildings are done in Maya and Renderman, all the rest in Photoshop with hand-painting.
